Museum Director

A museum dedicated to exploring the ways that architecture influences our communities and our world seeks its first full-time Director. Responsibilities will include working with and helping develop the governing board; representing the Center in the Richmond community as well as throughout the region; leading the institution’s fundraising through a capital campaign; expanding its programs of exhibition, education, and retail; leading the on-going restoration of a 28,000 square foot historic landmark building; and leading the institution to accreditation by the American Association of Museums. Required background and experience include a degree in a related discipline as well as significant work in architecture, design or related arts, whether in a museum or educational setting. Salary with benefits will be commensurate with qualifications.
